2004 Ford Thunderbird Colors. For each year of production of the 2002-2005 Thunderbird, Ford offered two or more exclusive ‘fashion’ colors in addition to the standard color options. They also produced a ‘Feature Car’ for each model year. The Thunderbird feature car for 2004 was the ‘Pacific Coast Roadster.’ It featured a unique ‘Monterey Mist Green’ metallic exterior body and a contrasting silver or ‘Light Ash’ hardtop. The interior of the Pacific Coast Roadster was a two-tone ‘Light Ash’ and ‘Dark Ash’ combination with ‘Preferred Suede’ cloth seat inserts. Production of the Pacific Coast Roadster was limited to 1,000 cars, and each had a special number plaque which indicated its production number. The other ‘Fashion Colors’ for 2004 included ‘Merlot’ and ‘Vintage Mint Green.’ The 2004 Thunderbird model year also added one additional ‘one-year-only’ color, ‘Light Ice Blue.’ The Light Ice Blue was introduced later in the 2004 model year after the production run of ‘Vintage Mint Green’ Thunderbirds had been completed.
