Powersport/Thunderbird Specialties – Purchase Terms & Conditions

Important! – Please read the following Terms and Conditions prior to completing your purchase:

PLEASE open and inspect ALL products upon receipt, whether you intend to use or install them immediately or not. Products received but left unopened and not inspected may not be returned after 30 days from receipt.

1. All products are warrantied for 30 days from date of receipt against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Defective products must be reported to Powersport within FIVE (5) days of receipt by e-mail ONLY and are subject to our return policy as shown below. Defective products cannot be reported by phone. Defective products will be replaced or the purchase price refunded at Powersport’s option.

2. Custom-Order products are NOT returnable unless there is a defect in workmanship or materials. Custom order products include, but are not limited to: Custom Logo Floor mats, Special Order OEM Ford replacement parts (new or ‘new old stock’ parts), Car covers and interior/cockpit covers, Clothing items such as T-Shirts, Leather hides or Leather Seat Covers, and ALL body kit items including hard Tonneau Covers, Fender skirts, Continental Kits, Sport Hood Scoops, Front Fascia, Ground effects and Wheel Covers.  In the case of parts and accessories with material or workmanship defects, Powersport Thunderbird Specialties, Inc. shall have the option to provide a replacement in lieu of a refund.  Such parts shall NOT be eligible for a refund until, and unless  Powersport has first had the opportunity to provide a replacement for such part(s).

3. Return parts, products or other merchandise MUST be returned in ORIGINAL packaging, and must be NEW, Unused and unaltered. Return postage must be pre- paid. No C.O.D.s accepted.

4. Absolutely NO RETURNS will be accepted without a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA). RMAs will be issued via e-mail only. No RMAs will be issued by phone.

5. Items returned due to customer error when placing the order, change of mind, or ANY reason other than a product defect are subject to a 35% restocking fee.

6. Absolutely NO returns will be accepted after 15 days after delivery! It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect and report any and all product defects with FIVE days of receipt. Products unopened and not inspected within FIVE days are NOT eligible for return, replacement or refund.

7. If for ANY reason a refund cannot be made to the customer’s original form of payment (credit card, PayPal, etc.), a store credit in the amount of the purchase shall be issued in lieu of a cash refund.

7. Customers without a valid e-mail address and internet access will NOT be supported, and orders placed by phone are made at the customer’s own risk.

8. Custom and specialty products, including, but not limited to Tonneau Covers, Body Kit packages and components and OEM Seat Cover Replacement sets are made-to- order products and require advance purchase of special materials and pre-paid set-up costs to our suppliers and vendors. Therefore, any request for order cancellation or refund AFTER the order has been placed will be assessed a 35% custom-order cancellation fee, even if the product(s) have NOT been shipped or delivered to the customer.

9. Special Terms & Conditions for all Electronic Module orders including FEMs/Front Electronic Modules, REMs/Rear Electronic Modules, and PCMs/Powertrain Control Modules. Electronic modules are custom-fabricated to order and are vehicle and VIN specific and NOT interchangeable. Once placed, orders for an FEM, REM, PCM or any other Thunderbird Electronic Module, are NON-CANCELLABLE and NON- REFUNDABLE, even if the module has not yet been shipped. Customers ordering FEMs, REMs must either provide their old module core or post Ford’s Core Charge Deposit in the amount of $ 1,495. NO new FEM or REM modules will be shipped until and unless customer supplies their existing core OR posts the Core Charge Deposit. $1200 of the Core Charge Deposit is refundable, provided the customer returns their old core, in the original packaging in which the new core was received within 15 CALENDAR days of receipt of the new Electronic Module.

10. Orders Cancelled Prior to Delivery or Shipment:  Any order cancelled after receipt, but prior to actual delivery or shipment, will be assessed an administrative and processing fee based on, and in consideration of the time required to process, sort and pack, invoice and then cancel said order, and for any non-reimbursed merchant credit card or PayPal fees charged to merchant.  Such cancellation fee shall be 3% of the total purchase price or $ 49 whichever is greater regardless of the amount of the purchase.

11. Powersport Thunderbird Specialties, Inc. shall not be responsible for lost, damaged or missing orders, including orders NOT received after 30 days from date order was placed.  If customer does not report that they have not received an item as ordered within 30 days of the date of the order, no refund or credit for that order will be issued.  The above shall apply except in the case of custom-made to order parts and accessories with a lead time of over 30 days.

12. Mobile Terms of Service Last updated: April 15, 2026

The Powersport Thunderbird Specialties mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by Powersport Thunderbird Specialties, Inc. (“Powersport Thunderbird Specialties”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Powersport Thunderbird Specialties’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Powersport Thunderbird Specialties through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Powersport Thunderbird Specialties. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18333291660 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Powersport Thunderbird Specialties mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
