Where is the REM (Rear Electronic Module) Located on the 2002-2005 Thunderbird?

The Rear Electronic Module (REM) can be accessed through the convertible soft top well. Here are instructions for finding it:

Remove the hardtop if installed and lower the convertible top.

1. NOTE: The pin-type retainers are overlapped by the convertible top well cover brace and convertible top well cover.Detach the 7 convertible top well cover pin-type retainers.
   • To install, use new pin-type retainers.

2. Gently pull the two corners of the protective cover away from the top brace until the 3 pin-type retainers on each side are disengaged and position the cover aside.
