2004 T-Bird OEM Glove Box Trim Panel – 4W6Z7604338CAB – This is the original OEM Ford part for the dash trim above the glove box of the 2004 Thunderbird with the ‘Light Sand’ interior accent package. Each model year Ford Thunderbird from 2002-2005, featured a unique pattern and style of interior metal trim ‘appliqués.’ In addition, there were unique patterns for the ‘Feature Cars’ including the 2002 ‘Neiman-Marcus’ Edition, the 2003 ‘James Bond’ 007 Special Edition, the 2004 ‘Pacific Coast Roadster,’ and the 2005, 50th Anniversary ‘Cashmere’ These metal trim accents included separate pieces for the interior Door Side Panels, Headlight & Power Mirror Switch surround, Ignition Switch Surround and Glove Box trim which included the ‘Thunderbird’ Script lettering logo. These metal trim Appliques, are long since out of production, ‘obsoleted’ by Ford, with no remaining dealer or Ford warehouse inventory. We recently acquired the very last remaining new, ‘new old stock’ inventory of this ‘signature’ interior trim.
The metal Applique just above the glove box is especially vulnerable to dings, scratches, and dents, and due to its prominent and highly visible location on the Passenger side seat, and damage, defect or dent sticks out like the proverbial ‘sore thumb.’
Whether you plan to keep your Thunderbird as long as you live, pass it on to a cherished child or grandchild, or even sell it in the near future, the better the condition, the higher the value … whenever or if ever it is sold.
This rare and discontinued OEM Ford parts will never be reproduced again!
